Swyx Connector for Skype
With Swyx Connector for Skype, you are now able to use Microsoft Skype for Business features such as instant messaging, status indication and phonebook in combination with Swyx telephone functionalities.
Supported operating systems
SwyxIt! (incl. SwyxFax Client) now also supports the Windows 10 operating system.

Explanation
Connection to SwyxServer outside the local company network now via SwyxRemoteConnector
SwyxRemoteConnector can be connected to SwyxServer, when you are outside your company network. Encryption is ensured via TLS (Transport Layer Security), the state-of-the-art encryption standard for internet data transmissions. New skins
The user profile contains new skins to be used with SwyxIt! 2015 (SwyxIt! 2015 [3x], SwyxIt! 2015 [3x HD], SwyxIt! 2015 [3x Visual Contacts], SwyxIt! 2015 [3x WebXT] and SwyxIt! 2015 [5x]).
Web-based online help
As of now, the online help for SwyxIt! is web-based and displayed in your standard browser.
Supported operating systems
SwyxIt! (incl. SwyxFax Client) now also supports the operating systems Windows Server 2012 R2 and Windows 8.1. SwyxIt! (incl. SwyxFax Client) can thus also be used in terminal server mode.
Windows XP and Vista, as well as Windows Server 2003 and 2008 are no longer supported.

"SwyxCTI+" option
This option allows you to control a telephony device with CTI SwyxIt! or to link CTI SwyxIt! with an external phone via its phone number.For further information please refer to chapter Phone Control via PC with SwyxCTI and SwyxCTI+.
"SwyxPLUS VisualContacts“ option
SwyxPLUS VisualContacts allows a quick and efficient access to contact data, such as names, addresses, phone numbers, pictures and customer-specific data.For further information please refer to Option "SwyxPLUS VisualContacts".
"SwyxPLUS for DATEV pro“ option
This option allows the integration of DATEV pro into SwyxWare. With SwyxIt!, the DATEV contact data and the telephony functions are merged. Telephone communication and data administration become more effective, and can be handled in fewer steps.
Linked contacts on speed dial buttons
Speed dial buttons can be linked to contact data from connected applications (e.g. SwyxPLUS VisualContacts, SwyxPLUS for DATEV pro, Microsoft® Outlook, IBM® Lotus Notes) The advanced contact information is displayed in the context menu of the speed dial button.For further information please refer to The context menu for Speed Dial buttons.
Extended contact cards
Contact information from connected applications is also displayed on the contact card, if a linked contact is assigned to the respective speed dial button.For further information please refer to Contact Card.
Optimized Outlook integration
SwyxIt! Phone Dialer and Swyx Voicemail Player have an optimized user interface and advanced functionality for the support of new Outlook versions.For further information please refer to Microsoft Outlook – Telephoning with SwyxIt!.
SwyxIt! Handset P280 support
USB device that allows the use of the complete SwyxIt! range of functions.For further information please refer to chapter SwyxIt! Handset P280.
Status signaling within the phone book
Extended status information of SwyxWare users are also displayed in the phonebook by means of symbols.
Status signaling in the preview window
The status of the SwyxWare user will also be displayed in the SwyxIt! preview window above the Windows taskbar and can be changed directly.For further information please refer to chapter Status signaling in the preview window.
Copying phone numbers within the context menu
You can use the context menu to copy phone numbers from the SwyxIt! interface into the clipboard to use it for other purposes.
Call information in the Windows jump list
Missed calls and dialed phone numbers are now displayed in the jump list above the Windows taskbar. You can also use the jump list to initiate calls.For further information please refer to chapter Jump list.
New taskbar icons
In case of missed calls or new voice mails, the SwyxIt! icon is highlighted in the task bar.For further information please refer to chapter Taskbar icons.
Visual Highlighting of missed calls in the call journal
Missed calls are now highlighted in the call journal. Missed calls are thus more visible.
