Adjust volume (ring tone, calls, media)

The volume must be set individually for ringtone, media, notifications and system.

To increase or decrease the volume

1 Press the volume button on your smartphone.

2 Tap Settings

(e.g. Android 9) or the down arrow (Android 8.1 or lower

3 Adjust the desired volume:

Ringtone

Volume of calls and notifications

Phone calls

Volume of the call partner during a telephone call

Media

Volume of music, videos, games, or other media.

Set the default volume control to Ringtone Volume. You can then increase or decrease the ringtone volume using the volume keys (Android 9 only).

The settings vary depending on the smartphone and version of the operating system. Please refer to your smartphone documentation for more information.
