Swyx Mobile for Android is a user-friendly VoIP solution, designed for an easy and intuitive communication with your contacts. Together with our telephony server SwyxServer, it turns your mobile phone into a powerful telephone system.
With the support of Swyx Push Notification services, server can send notifications to clients to trigger certain events.
With this technology persistent queries from the server become obsolete. This service makes the communication more efficient and thus saves the battery life. At the same time a more steady availability is guaranteed.

Under "Settings | About Swyx Mobile" you can see if the Push Notification Service has been installed and started. If you see the PNS version number there, this is the case.
