Creating a journal entry during a call
You can configure Outlook so that for incoming internal, incoming external or outgoing calls a journal entry is automatically created and if necessary displayed (Creating and displaying Outlook journal entries).
If you have disabled this function in general or enabled it for certain calls only, you can create a journal entry for a call during the call (or even during the ringing tone).
To create a journal entry during a call 
You receive a call or have just dialed a subscriber or you are currently on a call, and you want to create a journal entry for this call.
1 In the "Functions" menu or the context menu of the relevant line button, select the option "Create Journal Entry".
The phone call will be noted in the Outlook journal.
