Requirements for the SwyxStandby option pack

For the installation of a standby scenario, you need

Windows Server 2012 R2, Windows Server 2016 or Windows Server 2019.

Active Directory in the domain

Support of NetBIOS names in the domain

Preparation

For the option pack SwyxStandby, the user under whose account the SwyxWare services are running must be a domain user.

Also, the user account under which the SQL agent accesses the database must be a domain user account.

Expand the existing user accounts to satisfy these conditions, or create new accounts.
