Software
Installation of the SwyxStandby option pack requires an operating system Windows Server 2012 R2, Windows Server 2016 or Windows Server 2019. The following databases are supported:

SQL Server 2016, 2017 from Standard Edition (on Windows Server 2016 and higher)
SQL Server 2014 from Standard Edition (on Windows Server 2012 R2)

SQL Server 2016, 2017 Express incl. "Replication" feature (from Windows Server 2016 and higher)
SQL Server 2014 Express incl. "Replication" feature (on Windows Server 2012 R2).

If an SQL Express database is used for the standby system, the 'Replication' function has also to be installed.
