Every computer on which a SwyxServer is installed must satisfy a minimum configuration for operation as a SwyxServer. See also Hardware Requirements.

For an installation without Standby functionality a separated database will be supported, i. e. the database can be installed on a separate computer. In a standby scenario it is not possible to install a separate database. It is essential for the replication between the two systems that the database and SwyxServer are installed on the same computer.
