Die Installation des Optionspaketes SwyxStandby setzt ein Betriebssystem Windows Server 2012 R2 oder Windows Server 2016 voraus. Es werden folgende Datenbanken unterstützt:
Master
Standby
SQL Server 2016 ab Standard Edition (auf Windows Server 2016)
SQL Server 2014 ab Standard Edition (auf Windows Server 2012 R2)
SQL Server 2016 Express inkl. Funktion „Replikation“ (auf Windows Server 2016)
SQL Server 2014 Express inkl. Funktion „Replikation“ (auf Windows Server 2012 R2)

Wird für das Standby-System eine SQL Express Datenbank verwendet, so muss die Funktion „Replikation“ mitinstalliert werden.
