The master is the interface between SwyxDECT 800base station and SwyxServer. The master manages the handsets integrated in the system. In a database he stores the data on configured and logged on handsets as well as the information on the base station the handset is currently connected to. It is the base station which has received the last message about the registration at a location from the handset. Via this location information calls from/to a handset are forwarded by the master to the correspdonig base station. This minimizes the communication load in the overall system.
