'LAN | DHCP Mode' page
There are various possible settings for a base station's DHCP mode:
*disabled
Used if the base station should have a static IP address.
*Client
The base station acts as a DHCP client. If a DHCP server is present in the network, an IP address is assigned.
*Automatic
In automatic mode, the base station will act as a DHCP client on power-up. If the base station is restarted by pressing the reset button on the back, it will be given the IP address 192.168.0.1 and the subnet mask 255.255.255.0.
After a change, start the base station again under 'Reset', so that the effect of the configuration changes can be seen.
